Comment Policy

Thanks so much for visiting The Critic Who Counts. I hope you’ve enjoyed the column and that you’ve been inspired to broaden your horizons and try new things. I’d love to hear about your experiences with the ’stuff’ I review, and my other readers would as well. Your comments are welcome!

I will occasionally cover some controversial subjects. I feel passionately about my interactions with the world, which is what led me to write this column… hopefully my readers are passionate folks as well. With this in mind, The Critic Who Counts is written by a tree-hugging, peace-loving hippy (that would be me), and my mom reads this column. So we’re all gonna have to play nice.

Hateful language, extreme profanity, rudeness and general meanness will not be tolerated. With respect, I also reserve the right to edit a comment for spelling and/or punctuation. I will never edit the core meaning of a comment.

Spammers will be reported to the blacklists. Phooey upon you all.

This policy may be updated any ole time, so be sure to check back occasionally if you have questions.

    Hi Casey,

Hey! We met in the airport in Vegas, your phone died, you used my friends. Your excitement for the job was contagious! Did you get the big offer? I’m happy you gave us your card, your site is very enjoyable! Elizabeth Sparks

  • About This Column

Theodore Roosevelt wrote: ‘It’s not the critic who counts’. His was an ode to the man who does, rather than to the man who sits idly by. Well, Mr. Roosevelt didn’t live in the 21st century, surrounded by 24-hour news media, where ‘multi-tasking’ has evolved past being a Corporate America catch-phrase and is now a life strategy for frazzled soccer moms. We don't have much 'sitting idly' time, and what little we have must be used wisely!

Welcome to your guide to media consumption. I’m here to review the world, and report back with navigational tips. With respect to Mr. Roosevelt, I strive to be The Critic Who Counts. Stop by every week for the latest views and reviews on, well... everything. Your comments are welcome!
